Consumers born between 1946 and 1964 (often known as the “Baby Boomer” generation) are the generation most likely to shop primarily in stores. From 2012 to 2022, total in-store retail gross sales dollars increased fifty three.8%. ECommerce represented a 4.93% larger share of monthly retail gross sales within the first half of 2023 than it did in the first half of 2022.
